3M Cloth Roll 707E is used to create abrasive belts for light to moderate-pressure stock removal and finishing on contoured surfaces. This cloth-backed abrasive is constructed with a blend of 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain and premium aluminum oxide to give you more durability and cutting efficiency over non-ceramic abrasives.

Flexible Construction
3M Cloth Roll 707E is constructed with a blend of 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain and premium aluminum oxide to give you increased durability and cutting speed. This unique combination of abrasive grains also helps deliver consistent performance over the life of the abrasive. The backing is made of a flexible rayon cloth that easily follows contours and can wrap around part radiuses. This flexibility also makes this abrasive a good choice when used on a soft contact wheel or slack of roll for more conformity to part radiuses.

Blended Ceramic Grain
3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral designed for long life and consistent finishes. For increased performance, 707E products feature aluminum oxide blended with 3M ceramic grain which is a harder, longer-lasting abrasive. Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal, ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast and to reduce heat when grinding on stainless steel and other heat sensitive metals. Ceramic/aluminum oxide blend surpasses aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability and makes 3M 707E cloth roll an excellent choice for moderate stock removal and surface preparation.

Recommended Applications
Choose this cloth when selecting abrasives for use on stainless steel, cobalt chrome, titanium and carbon steel for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending and scratch refinement. An incorporated grinding aid helps reduce grinding temperatures and protect heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys and cobalt alloys. This also helps prevent heat-related stress cracks and surface discoloration. Additionally, the abrasive is firmly attached to the backing with resin bond to maintain durability for all finishing applications.
