Thanks to the embedded 3M™ EMS Point Marker's frequency dedicated for each type of utility, this tape helps to quickly and easily locate underground utility networks — with no need for access points. Its design also helps ensure accurate location when damaged and does not require metallic continuity for locating, as a locatable signal is provided by 3M™ EMS Point Markers embedded in the tape every eight feet that are activated using a 3M™ Dynatel™ Locators 7000X Series.
