3M™ Expandable Slot Liner ESL-TC190 is an electric motor slot insulation made from a core polyester film layer with a built-in, expandable, thermosetting adhesive and porous cover layers applied to both sides. It eliminates the need for subsequent, time-intensive impregnating resin application.

  • Higher thermal conductivity version for wherever greater heat transfer is required, e.g. high-performance or indirect-cooled motors
  • Helps improve electric motor manufacturing efficiency and throughput (Test report available upon request)
  • For motors that use shaped or formed windings
  • Utilizes current automatic slot insulation insertion process and equipment
