Product Description

The 3M™ Fit Test Adapter 601 allows you to perform quantitative fit testing (QNFT) on 3M facepieces with bayonet style filter/cartridge connection including the 3M™ Half Facepieces 6000, 6500/6500QL and 7500 Series, and Full Facepieces 6000, FF-400 and 7800 Series. This fit test adapter is designed to be used with certain sampling instruments, such as a TSI® PortaCount® Respirator Fit Tester.

Features

  • Package contents: adaptor, plastic tubing, suction cups, and a retainer clip
  • Fit tests should be performed per OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1910.134 - Appendix A
  • Quantitative fit testing is required to obtain an OSHA assigned protection factor (APF) of 50 for full facepieces in negative-pressure air-purifying mode
  • Designed to be used with the 3M™ Half Facepieces 6000, 6500/6500QL and 7500 Series, and Full Facepieces 6000, FF-400 and 7800 Series.
  • For workplace/occupational use only
  • Use to conduct quantitative fit testing (QNFT) on 3M™ Reusable Respirators with certain sampling instruments, such as a TSI® PortaCount® Respirator Fit Tester
