Product Description

The 3M™ Metalworking contains a selection of abrasive belts for use in both wet and dry applications. It includes two grits which are used for grinding and stock removal, and two grits which are used for deburring and finishing. Each belt is water resistant and has unique features that reduce heat buildup and loading.

Features

  • A general-purpose aluminum oxide cloth-backed belt recommended for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications. It is optimized for use on mild steel and carbon steel, and is also effective on softer metals like aluminum, bronze and brass
  • For longer life and a faster, more consistent cut than conventional ceramic aluminum oxide belts. The belt also features a waterproof backing and grinding aid.
  • Kit includes abrasive belts designed for grinding and finishing on a variety of metal alloys including mild steel, carbon steel and stainless steel.
