Product Description

3M™ Scotch Seal™ Tape 2229 is a 125 mil thick, highly conformable, tacky mastic pad on an easy release liner that's suitable for insulating, padding and sealing of objects that need to be protected from adverse environmental conditions. It withstands temperatures up to 194 °F (90 °C).

Features

  • RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant
  • Also used for sealing high-voltage cable splice and termination accessories for 90º C continuous operating temperature.
  • Tacky mastic adhesive provides excellent adherence over irregular surfaces
  • Easy release liner
  • For insulating electrical connections rated up to 1000 volts if over wrapped with vinyl or rubber electrical tape.
  • Withstands temperatures up to 194 °F (90 °C)
