3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 2290 is a solvent-based, low viscosity amber tinted thermosetting epoxy adhesive requiring heat cure. It is designed for metal to metal coating and subsequent bonding: for example, in motor lamination and wire winding.

  • Excellent wetting during cure requires only coating a single surface
  • Offers exceptionally high shear and peel strength
  • Heat press during cure recommended for lamination use
  • Dries to a tack-free film which allows bonds to be made up to 3 months later for B-staging and multi-stage processes
