Product Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Metal Bonder Acrylic Adhesive 8407NS is a gray structural adhesive with high overlap shear and peel strength with good impact resistance and durability. It is ideal for industrial applications where permanent, high-strength bonds with minimal surface preparation are required. This adhesive is designed to resist corrosion and bond bare metals like aluminum, cold-rolled steel, copper, brass, bronze, and even most plastics. Additionally, it provides excellent bond strength and impact resistance, even at temperatures as low as -40 °F (-40 °C). 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Metal Bonder Acrylic Adhesive 8407NS is available in both bulk or a Duo-Pak (DP); when using this adhesive in Duo-Pak form, rely on 3M™ Applicators for convenient and accurate metering, mixing, and dispensing.

  • PROFESSIONAL-GRADE ADHESIVE: Bonds to bare, oily metals, as well as a wide variety of other materials, including most plastics
  • TOUGH AND LASTING BONDS: Offers high durability and impact strength in a temperature as low as -40 °F (-40 °C)
  • CURING TIME: Fully cured in approximately 24 hours at a temperature of 73 °F (23 °C)
