Product Description

3M™ Scotchcast™ Electrical Resin 263 is a 1 part, powder resin used for coating flat surfaces, corners and high points. This general purpose epoxy based, rapid cure resin has a very low viscosity property, making it easy to infuse on any surface. The resin melts when it's heated, flows to a controlled extent and then cures, bonding to the surface in a continuous, uniform, thick coating.

  • Useful for moisture-proofing and insulating armatures, stators, buss bars and toroid cores
  • Has 7 to 15-second gel time at 380 °F (193 °C)
  • Compatible with electrostatic spray, fluid bed dip and venturi spray
  • Withstands temperatures of 356 °F (180 °C)
  • UL Listed, EIS Approved and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant
  • Heat-, chemical- and moisture-resistant
