3M™ Temflex™ Vinyl Electrical Tape 165 is a 6 mil (0.152 mm) thick vinyl insulating tape engineered for versatility in a variety of applications, including cable jacket repair, harnessing and bundling cables, phase identification, wire fishing, and mechanical protection on splices rated up to 600V. It is ideal for light to moderate indoor and outdoor weather-protected conditions, with a temperature range of 19 °F (-7 °C) to 194 °F (90 °C) per CSA-C22.2 No. 197 standards. Made from durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC), this tape is both flame-retardant and cold-weather resistant, providing mechanical protection without adding unnecessary bulk. Thanks to its robust formulation, the tape can help reduce moisture ingress when used as an overwrap in combination with a rubber splicing or mastic tape product. Additionally, 3M Temflex 165 Tape is UL Listed and CSA Certified as an insulating tape, and it is manufactured without the use of solvents or volatile organic compounds (VOCs), underscoring its commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
