3M™ Ultra-Thin Water Contact Indicator Tape 5559 changes color RAPIDLY from white to red upon contact w/water. It is designed to withstand heat and humidity aging w/o giving water indication. The top surface is press printable by laser and ink jet devices.

  • Tape is thinner to enable slim electronics device design
  • Acrylic adhesive allows for a very high bond strength to most surfaces including low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene and powder coatings
  • Total construction is rotary die-cuttable with no film top layer
  • Paper backing is highly absorbent and transports water to show indications
