3M™ VHB™ Tape 4947F is a high-strength acrylic bonding solution made with a conformable foam core that adheres quickly and permanently to a variety of thin, lightweight, and dissimilar materials. Engineered to be strong, it can replace rivets, welds, and screws while providing valuable time saving by eliminating the need for drilling, welding, grinding, and project cleanup. The fast and easy-to-use bonding method offers seamless joining that keeps surfaces smooth and aesthetically pleasing resulting in a professional application. The advanced technology of the pressure-sensitive adhesive protects against water and seals tightly for long-term durability, performing in short-term use at a temperature up to 300 °F (149 °C) or long-term use withstanding up to 200 °F (93 °C). Having excellent plasticizer resistance, 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4947F offers versatility to be used across many industries, including general industrial, transportation, appliance repair and assembly, construction, and signage.
