3M™ VHB™ Tape LSE-060WF is a double-sided tape comprised of a multi-purpose modified acrylic adhesive with a conformable, foam core delivering a total thickness of 25 mil (0.6 mm) when applied that was developed specifically for LSE substrates, such as polypropylene (PP), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), and thermoplastic olefins (TPO). It creates a long-lasting, high-strength bond without the use of primer or promoter while offering the versatility to join dissimilar and delicate materials that would typically call for specialized ultrasonic welding equipment. This helps reduce upfront and incremental investments, simply the assembly process, and eliminate post-weld finishing operations that require extensive training within the labor force. Engineered to be strong, it can replace rivets, welds, and screws while providing faster production times that removing the need for drilling, welding, grinding, and project cleanup. Offering seamless joining, this easy-to-use bonding method keeps surfaces smooth and provide an excellent balance of strength, viscoelasticity, conformability, and adhesion. The advanced closed-cell acrylic technology provides secure bonding that protects against water and seals tightly for long-term durability. It performs in applications for short-term use (up to four hours) at a temperature up to 300 °F (149 °C) or long-term use withstanding up to 200 °F (93 °C), as well as offering high initial tack at low temperatures on frost-free surfaces down to 32 °F (0 °C).
