3M™ VHB™ Tape Max Series is a high-performance, double-sided acrylic foam tape designed to replace traditional mechanical fasteners, some forms of welding, and liquid adhesives. The strongest acrylic foam tape in the 3M™ VHB™ Tape portfolio, this tape is made for more demanding applications — while streamlining production by eliminating the need for drilling, welding, and subsequent cleanup. Versatility is also a key feature of this tape series, as it offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials, such as metals and high surface energy substrates. This creates a smooth and seamless finish for enhanced aesthetics. Use 3M™ VHB™ Tape Max Series with 3M™ VHB™ Tape Max Promoter to ensure adequate bond strength across a variety of surfaces and environmental conditions.

  • PERFECT PAIRING: Designed to be used with 3M™ VHB™ Tape Max Promoter to achieve high bond strength on a variety of substrates
  • BONDING ALTERNATIVE: Designed to replace mechanical fasteners, some forms of welding, and liquid adhesives in applications requiring extreme strength
  • DO MORE WITH LESS: Offers greater design flexibility and may reduce material usage compared to other acrylic foam tapes by using narrower bond lines and less total bond area
