3M™ VHB™ Tape GPH-110GF is a double-sided tape comprised of a multi-purpose acrylic adhesive with a conformable, foam core, delivering a total thickness of 45 mil (1.1 mm) when applied. It is specifically designed to perform in high-temperature applications and creates a long-lasting, high-strength bond prior to powder coating and liquid paint processes. The ability to bond before powder coating and liquid paint processes helps simplify and reduce pre-paint steps, resulting in valuable time and cost savings. It joins dissimilar and thin materials enabling the tape to excel across various industries, including specialty vehicles, appliances, signage, construction, general industrial, and more. Engineered to be strong, it can replace rivets, welds, and screws, enabling faster production times by removing the need for drilling, welding, grinding, and project cleanup. Offering seamless joining, this easy-to-use bonding method keeps surfaces smooth and provides an excellent balance of strength, viscoelasticity, conformability, and adhesion. The advanced closed-cell acrylic foam technology provides secure bonding that protects against water and seals tightly for long-term durability. The film liner is built to offer consistency for a smooth and easy release. It performs in applications for short-term use (up to four hours) at a temperature up to 450 °F (230 °C) or in long-term use (up to one week) withstanding 300 °F (149 °C).
