40V max XGT® Brushless Cordless 17" High Torque String Trimmer Kit (5.0Ah) - GRU04T

The 40V max XGT® Brushless String Trimmer (GRU04) is engineered to provide the power equivalent to a 30cc string trimmer, but with lower noise, less maintenance, zero emissions, and no pull starts. It also has lower weight than a comparable gas-powered model. It has a 17" cutting swath and a rapid load bump and feed trimmer head for efficient trimming. The String Trimmer has a variable speed trigger and 3-speed options (Low: 4,000 RPM, Medium: 4,600 High: 6,000 RPM) for power and run time management. In addition, users can set the Automatic Torque Drive Technology mode, which automatically shifts from 4,000-6,000 RPM for extended run time or added power. It also features a reverse function that quickly clears the trimmer head of entangled grass and weeds. The rapid load bump and feed trimmer head loads line in seconds with 3 easy steps: align, feed, and twist. The steel drive shaft is engineered for reduced vibration. For added durability, it features IPX4 weather-resistant construction, and Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) engineered for improved dust and water resistance. XGT® is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers utilizing 40v max lithium-ion batteries. XGT® is engineered to deliver high power to take on high-demand applications, allowing users to completely transition to a cordless job site.
