The 40V max XGT® Brush Cutter (GRU06) is engineered to provide the power equivalent to a 35cc gas brush cutter, but with lower noise, less maintenance, zero emissions, and no pull starts. It also has lower weight than a comparable gas-powered brush cutter. The GRU06 has a bike-handle design for improved grip and a more ergonomic working position and includes a 10" steel four-tooth brush cutter blade for cutting grasses, shrubs, and underwood. The Brush Cutter can also accept a trimmer head with an 18" cutting swath for increased productivity (trimmer head not included). The Brush Cutter has a cruise control lever with a variable speed trigger for controlled cutting speed. It also features a reverse function that quickly clears the trimmer head of entangled grass and weeds. The steel drive shaft is engineered for reduced vibration and longer life. For added durability, it features IPX4 weather-resistant construction, and Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) engineered for improved dust and water resistance. Convenience features include a wide brush cutter debris shield designed for use with nylon trimmer heads or metal brush cutter blades and a high torque boost mode for cutting dense material.
