The Makita Dust Case with HEPA Filter Cleaning Mechanism (1911P4-2) is for use with Makita On-Board Dust Extractors (DX16, sold separately) when used with compatible Makita cordless rotary hammers. The Dust Case is engineered with a filter cleaning mechanism for OSHA Table 1 compliance with select on-board dust extractors. It features a transparent dust container which provides a visible fill level and can hold up to 50 fl. oz. of dust. The efficient HEPA filtration system captures 99.97% of particulates .3 microns and larger. The filter cleaning dial should be turned after collecting 50,000 cubic meters of dust (equivalent to 14 holes of 3/8" diameter by 2" depth). It features a quick release dust container where the filter can be easily accessed.
