  • 100 Line: Glasurit's newest waterborne basecoat, built for faster processing and lower material use.
  • 55 Line: a solventborne basecoat for basecoat/clearcoat repairs where waterborne isn't required.
  • 22 Line: a high-solids single-stage topcoat for solid colors, fleets and commercial vehicles.

Mixing colors and pearls are sold in .5 L, 1 L and 3.5 L sizes to mix to your formula.

Glasurit Clears and Hardeners

Pick a clear by job size and how you dry it:

Match the hardener to your shop temperature, for example HS Hardener Normal 929-93 or Fast 929-91, and follow the clear's technical data sheet for the mix ratio.

Glasurit Paint FAQ

Who makes Glasurit paint?

Glasurit is made by BASF. BASF also makes the premium R-M refinish line and the value-priced Limco line.

Is Glasurit waterborne or solvent?

Both. The 90 Line and 100 Line basecoats are waterborne; the 55 Line basecoat and 22 Line single stage are solvent-based.

Where can I buy Glasurit paint online?

Glasurit is sold through BASF refinish distributors rather than retail stores. You can order Glasurit colors, clears, hardeners and primers online from Strobels Supply.

Glasurit vs Axalta: which is better?

Both are premium OEM-approved refinish systems. Glasurit is BASF's top line; the closest Axalta equivalent is Cromax. Most shops choose based on the system they're trained on and their color-matching tools.
