Product Description

Scotch® Flatback Masking Tape 250 serves as an ideal quality control paint adhesion testing tape. Featuring high peel adhesion and a strong flatback paper backing, this tape offers good tensile strength to resist breakage — making it perfectly suited for holding, bundling, and wrapping applications for a wide variety of materials where a strong paper backing is needed. In addition to its performance characteristics, Scotch® Flatback Masking Tape 250 provides a controlled unwind while remaining easy to tear and manipulate during the application process.

  • UNIQUE BACKING: A special flatback paper backing resists tearing and breakage
  • TEMPERATURE RANGE: Performs in temperatures reaching 125 °F (52 °C) for up to 30 minutes
  • TEST PAINT ADHESION: Ideal for paint adhesion testing, along with holding, bundling, and wrapping applications for a wide variety of materials
  • AMS CERTIFICATION: Certified to meet AMS-3721 regulations for performing organic coating adhesion testing
  • TAPE THICKNESS: Total tape thickness of 6.6 mil (0.17 mm)
  • INSTANT ADHESION: Utilizes a pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive that forms a strong bond when placed
