3M™ VHB™ Extrudable Tape GP is a high strength pressure-sensitive adhesive that provides immediate handling strength, fast and easy application, and delivers the durability that customers require. This new bonding solution, tailor-made for automation, reimagines tape, providing a faster, simplified, more sustainable solution for manufacturing processes. It provides excellent adhesion to many substrates – in some cases with little or no surface preparation – and has a stretch release feature that allows clean adhesive removal.

Features

Excellent adhesion to metals, glass, rubber, LSE plastics, woven and non-woven textiles, and hard-to-bond materials
Some substrates require little or no surface preparation, including slightly oily surfaces (testing required to confirm application suitability)
Bond line can be laid in variable widths, thicknesses and profiles
Bond line can be closed immediately (hot) or after weeks (cold)
Stretch release technology allows easy removal for reworkability and reduced scrap
