Product Description

3M™ Thin Flexographic Mounting Tape 2205FL Translucent is a 5 mil, double coated film tape with differential acrylic adhesives on a polyester film carrier with a polycoated polyester liner. This tape is specifically designed for the corrugated printing segment to hold flexographic print plates to PVC saddles/carriers.

Features

  • Non-linered side of the tape is designed for mounting to photopolymer plates
  • 0.005 inch (0.13 mm) double coated tape is designed for the corrugated printing business to hold flexographic print plates to PVC carriers/saddles
  • Grooves in the adhesive are created by a cross-hatch pattern from the release liner
  • Clean plate removal when demounting or repositioning
  • Linered side of the tape is designed for mounting to the carrier and has the air release feature allowing air to escape from between the tape and the carrier
  • Excellent holding power on-press with high plateside adhesion
