Product Description

3M™ VentureClad™ Enhanced Metal Jacketing 1577CW-EMJ is an all-weather option for various jacketing applications. It offers high resistance to weathering, mold, UV and extreme environmental conditions. This multi-layered laminate tape is designed to provide zero permeability and act as a vapor barrier. The additional clear coat layer of protection makes it more resistant and durable. Zero-permeable jacketing for insulated HVAC ductwork and pipes to protect against moisture, mold, ultraviolet (UV), and extreme environmental conditions. Backed by a 10-year 3M warranty when applied per 3M installation guidelines. It comes in silver smooth.

  • Bonds and seals in cold, hot and humid conditions as low as -10°F (-23°C) with service range of -40°F (-40°C) to248°F (120°C)
  • Designed to protect insulation materials, including fiberglass, polystyrene, mineral wool, elastomeric, phenolic foam, cellular glass, calcium silicate and conformable aerogel
  • Quick and simple install with no specialized tools.
  • Available in a smooth finish with a wide range of widths and lengths
  • Protects against intrusion by vapor and chemical atmospheres as well as water, fungi, corrosion, oil and grease
  • Highly resistant to punctures and tears.
