Product Description

3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9498 offers excellent flying splice and core starting wet grab characteristics. It is typically used in the printing industry and performs well at process speeds exceeding 2,000 feet per minute. This tape can be used in ovens up to 450ºF (232ºC) if dwell times are ten seconds or less and up to 250⁰F (232⁰C) for longer periods.

  • 60lb Densified Kraft (DK) liner for ease in die-cutting operations
  • Ultra-high peel strength and excellent shear strength to withstand rigorous splicing applications
  • Moderate temperature resistance up to 250⁰F (121⁰C)
  • Bonds well to most substrates, including low surface energy plastics
  • Conformable to irregular surfaces
