Product Description

3M™ Thin Flexographic Mounting Tape 2205 is a 5 mil, double coated film tape with differential acrylic adhesives on a polyester film carrier with a polycoated kraft paper liner. This tape is specifically designed for the corrugated printing business to hold flexographic print plates to PVC saddles/carriers.

Features

  • Linered side of the tape has crosshatched pattern that allows air to escape from between the tape and the carrier
  • Excellent holding power on-press with high plate side adhesion
  • Adhesive on non-linered side of the tape is designed for mounting of photopolymer plates
  • Clean plate removal when demounting or repositioning
  • Embossed polycoated kraft (PCK) paper liner
  • 0.005 inch (0.13 mm) double-coated tape designed for the corrugated printing business to hold flexographic print plates to PVC carriers/saddles and PET carriers/saddles
